Judah was pretty fussy yesterday & was taking a bottle more frequently .... so we decided it was time for some cereal! He was so much fun. At first, he was super confused and was making the funniest faces. Then he was loving it & couldn't get it fast enough. Then when he realized he really wasn't getting it fast enough he started crying. It took a while to calm him down & he eventually finished it off. Lance kept saying the whole time "this is so fun." This kid is seriously a blast.

Last weekend my nephew Joshy stayed w/ us while his parents were out of town. We had a LOT of fun. He is such a good baby. There were so many times I would find Judah & Joshy just staring at each other. It was actually funny .... it looked almost like a contest. I'm never quite sure who won, but whenever either of them play w/ me ... I lose. Thanks Matt & Carrie for lettings us spend time w/ our nephew. We LOVE you Joshy.

Judah is already getting so big. It makes me sad & happy all at the same time. Being a mother brings out pretty much every emotion you can have pretty much every day. He is talking a lot more now (& by talking I mean 'cooing'). & Although so far he has only done this for grandma, he is rolling over front to back. AHHHHHH I can't wait to see him do it. Since she told me yesterday he has been getting a lot of belly time. However he just won't seem to show me. UGH. He is driving me crazy .... just another emotion he pulls out of me :) Lastly, he wiggles around his crib SO much. Everytime I go in there to check on him he is in a different location in his crib. My lil wiggle worm.

Lance, Judah and I went to Steve and Sarah's condo last night & I brought dessert. I made the Brownie PeanutButter Cups again, but I wanted to try something new too. OK this dessert is MY favorite that I have baked so far. I'm not a huge chocolate girl ... so although others have appreciated those other treats, they have just been OK to me. BUT Cream Cheese Coffee Cake, yes please! Since I'm still new to this whole baking thing I always make Lance test the dessert before I let anyone eat it (which is why a piece is missing in the picture :) Once he gives the go ahead, then I bring it out! Everyone seemed to like it. Sarah & Steve made a delicious dinner & we feasted. Steve & Nikki joined later in the night for some games! Judah enjoyed the first hour, then spent the rest of the night snoozing :) All in all, it was a FUN evening spent w/ amazing friends.

Judah is now 3 months old. This kid is amazing & I LOVE him so much. Some things I want to make sure I remember about him at this age are .... 1. He LOVES to smile. And we love to see him smile ;) 2. He so enjoys having someone to talk to. He basically makes a bunch of noise until you come over to hang out w/ him. 3. He is wiggling around his crib. I am shocked every time I go in there and he is facing the other way ... or has a leg hanging out of the crib. 4. He is still snorting. To Lance and I, it just gets cuter & cuter. 5. If you have a camera pointed at him, he will not look anywhere else but into the lens. Which you would think I would love, however it makes it difficult sometimes to get him to look at me so I can make him smile.

I'm continuing my baking adventure. I found these brownies on Pinterest (of course) and couldn't wait to make them. I finally found the time. And I gotta say, I loved them. Brownie Peanutbutter cups. Yum :) Lance had 3 of them in one sitting! Translation ... success. I am having so much fun trying out all these different recipes. Who knew baking could be such a good time. Not me, that's for sure. But I'm glad I figured it out. Now if only all these desserts I am making could be fat free ... then I would truly be ONE HAPPY GIRL.

My bestfriend (since we were babies) had her baby shower last Sunday. She looked so beautiful. I SERIOUSLY cannot wait for our kids to grow up as together. It makes me all emotional to think of everything we have been through together & that we even get to go through THIS together :) Only one more month. I love you, Mikes. Last wednesday we had a Cupp girls tea party. Well, that was the 'cover story' ... it was actually a small surprise baby shower for Laurie Cupp & baby Chloe. It was the cutest lil thing. The girls came in their dresses & we had tea, cookies, truffles & gifts. LOVE my family!

Not sure why I have been baking so much lately ... my only guess is because I am dieting to lose all my baby weight (is it still considered baby weight if it's really just losing the weight you gained because you ate so much while pregnant?). Anyways, found this recipe on Pinterest (where I find most of them) and HAD to try it out. Coffee cupcakes YUM. The more I bake the more I like to bake. I have so many recipes I want to try out. Unfortunately, I go back to work on Monday and am not sure if I will have as much time for it. Guess i'll MAKE time :)

Last night Lance watched the little guy so that I could go out w/ my girls for the first time since the baby. It was sooooo nice. We were all so happy to be out we decided on not seeing a movie and just ended up sitting at a table talking for 4 hours. It was a little strange not having Judah with me. Or having to constantly stop the conversation for a feeding or diaper change. I am lucky to have such a wonderful husband & amazing friends. This morning it was just me and Judah because Lance went fishing with his brothers and nephew. Since I missed Jude so much last night I am spoiling him with attention today & we are having a FUN time :)

One of my favorite things in the world is how much my nieces & nephews love their lil' cousin. If they don't see him right away when they see me they are always asking where he is and then if they can hold him. I'm so excited that Judah has such wonderful cousins that I know will always love him. I took this picture after church right after Zoey got done holding him. Isaac said he could hold Judah by himself (he didn't need any help) ... he was right.

On Saturday Tim Karen Lance Judah and I all set out to visit some estate sales. We go some great finds for some even better prices. Afterward on a whim we went to downtown Northiville to visit the store RePurpose. I basically wanted EVERYTHING in the store. However we showed some restraint and stuck to our earlier finds. I'm already trying to plan another time that we can go to more estate sales. Until then we are having fun trying to find places in our house for our new old things.

Ok so I am not a huge baker, but lately I have been trying a few things. Well, we had some people over tonight for a bonfire and I wanted to try something new. So I made FROM SCRATCH S'more Cupcakes. It's chocolate cupcakes w/ marshmallow filling and vanilla frosting with graham cracker sprinkles on top. It took a while to make, but I have to say I am super proud of them. I'm not totally confident that they taste THAT much better than the 'out of the box' cupcakes. However, I have a feeling Lance would want me to make them again :) I feel like I could put these on Pinterest! haha

My favorite things about my son

1. HE SNORTS. (literally all the time. It's so cute. Lance and I just laugh at him all the time.)

2. HIS EYES. (he will just stare at whoever is holding him. He is so alert.)

3. HE LOVES TO EAT. (he gets so excited when he feels his bottle to his lips that he starts shaking his head so fast that he gets milk everywhere.)

4. HE IS A GOOD SLEEPER. (from the day I brought him home, he would eat and go right back to bed.)

5. HE MAKES KISSY FACES. (he is always puckering his lips, which Lance and I always take the advantage to give him big kisses.)

I obviously love so many more things about him ... but these are a few I wanted to make sure I remember :)

Today was the first time our family could get together to celebrate Father's Day for my dad. We had to do it in the middle of the day because everyone is so busy. I LOVE when all the kids get together. It's chaos.... and it's fun! I forgot my camera so the pictures are a little fuzzy because I had to take them with my ipod.

Today we were able to go to our brothers Joey and Johnny's baseball game. They did amazing! At one point in the game Johnny was pitching and Joey was catching. It was super fun to watch. We were standing next to someone who found out that we were there for the Cupp boys and she proceeded to tell us how great of players they are. I'm such a proud sister :)

I LOVE Family Field Day! It's so nice that every year our families get together for some nice fun competition. I'm sad I didn't get more pictures. Looking at the pictures I do have, It almost looks like it was just a normal day. BUT, I did of course get some of the kids.

The theme this year was "it's not what it appears." So for the dessert competition I made Hamburger Cupcakes :) I won last year's .... not so much this year. It sure was fun making them though.

Did you ever get the feeling that you are not actually living in reality? For example, after Lance and I came home from our honeymoon, I felt like we were just 'playing' house. It didn't seem real. It just seemed like I was dreaming (in a good way.) Well, that's how I feel now. I am a MOM. crazy! When I was in the hospital with him I almost felt like I was with my nephew. Now that I am home, it seems almost like he is on loan. What did I do to deserve such a wonderful little man? Or better yet, who and why is someone trusting the life of another human being in my hands? I feel so blessed and so undeserving. I just watch him while he is sleeping and think "do I really get to keep him"? Wouldn't you think the same thing if you saw this face everyday ..............

WOW my last post was about our honeymoon. NOW a year and a half later I am posting on our baby. CRAZY.

I would like everyone to meet Judah Andrew Cupp! He was born on July 1st (8lb 9oz, 21 inches). He basically stole my heart from day one. I can't wait to watch him grow up and see the lil man he is going to become.

Lance and I have not gotten our pictures from the wedding yet, so I thought I would do a post on our honeymoon. It was wonderful. We did a lot of hiking (some parts where rock climbing at my bachelorette party came in handy ... which was lance's favorite part). My favorite was when we took a boat out on the water to go whale watching. We saw so many ... it was amazing. We actually were even able to see them from our balcony. We of course did the road to Hana & went to the top of Haleakala Crater (A dormant volcano measuring 10,000 feet above sea level, it is Maui's highest point.) Needless to say ... we kept busy and had a great time. Here are a couple interesting facts we learned while there (from our brochures lol) ... & some pictures of our stay :)

Every year my entire family goes to Frankenmuth for the night. It is honestly one of my favorite times of the year. Last year when we went we were feeling pretty goofy and took some crazy pictures (ok ... so we take silly pictures every year). I kept joking w/ my family about sending Lance a picture of me in this gift and giving it to him (we were in the beginning stages of "us"). Keri took the picture and the plan was set in motion .... and by 'set in motion' I mean just taking it and doing nothing. Well who would have known that the very next year Lance would come w/ the family as my fiance. We had to celebrate by making him take the exact same picture. He is such a good sport! I got a good one ;)

My brother Tommy (keeping me in check) reminded me that I need to start blogging again! I agreed. LANCE AND I ARE ENGAGED. Ok anyone that reads my blog probably already know this .... but do you know how he popped the BIG QUESTION ......

I got home from the Sancrant wedding at about 11:30pm on Sunday night. On my counter was a mystery letter from Lance explaining that we were going to have a BIG day the next day (Labor Day). So even tho I was pretty tired he needed me to do a few things before I went to bed that night (for example: charge my digital camera & ipods ... etc.). He was at my house by 6:30am on Monday. While I finished getting ready, he made breakfast ;) Then we headed to the surprise destination: Chicago. Our first stop was lunch at Uncommon Ground, a cute lil organic restaurant just outside of the city. After some amazing food and a latte we headed into the Windy City. We took our car to valet and took taxis all around all day. First stop was Millinnium & Grand Park. Then we headed to Willis Tower (Sears Tower) to the 103 floor to look over the city. They created a new deck where it is glass above, below and all around you. It was exciting and scary ;) Next on the agenda was a LOT of walking & shopping! My feet started to hurt so we OF COURSE had to go shoe shopping! We also went to a couple more parks and 2 coffee bars (Intelligentsia and Whispers). Later was a romantic dinner at Bijans Bistro. We ended the night with going to the Navy Pier. We walked along the water as to avoid too many people. As the sun was setting Lance sat me on a bench and got on his knees. AHHHHHHHH and popped the BIG question. My answer was a silly grin until he reminded me I had to actually give him a verbal answer. It was perfect. I had the Chicago skyline on my left, Lake Michigan on my right and my love in front of me.

Last friday I went to my very first graduation for homeschoolers (I forget the official name ;) It was actually pretty cool. The class was small enough that the parents got to give the diploma to their children and say a little something nice. It made it way more personal. It was also very fun hanging out w/ Lance's family & sneaking up to the front to get pictures of Suzanne ;) Congratulations!!!!

Last Saturday I headed to C.J. Barrymores for a cousin night. WOW .... I have not been there for years .... but I have to say I had a blast!!!! We did the batting cages, go-karts, bumper boats, and the driving range. We ended the night at Sonic!!!!!!! Thank you Sarah for setting this amazingly fun night up!

Also this past weekend my lovely friends got engaged! I'm so happy for you Steve & Sarah!

Yesterday we went out to eat then back to the Sheerer's house for Keri's birthday. Tommy made an amazing cake (that he should totally enter into a contest) & we opened gifts. My other sister Mikes had her wedding shower today!!!!!! Last year I flew down to Florida to watch Michaelin and Remy get married on the sunny beach! They never had a shower or ceremony in Michigan, so some of the ladies from the church wanted to bless them. The shower was beautiful (it was decorated w/ lights and everything) and everyone had a wonderful time. Mikes even cried a couple times LOL ... it could have something to do w/ the baby on the way ;) I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

I want to start a petition that bands all feeding of birds off of your balcony in an apartment complex. If you have you're own home ... please feel free to feed all the birds you want. However ... every time I leave my apt. there is bird droppings everywhere. & When I go for a run .... I have to literally dodge the crap on the ground (and sometimes I have to dodge the actual BIRDS). At first I just thought that maybe the birds like the ponds around my apt. complex .... BUT then I found the culprit. She lives a few doors down from me and was feeding the birds bread off her balcony. It seriously was ridiculous how many birds were around our place. Put aside the fact that I hate birds and I KNOW they are out to get me, Let's think of our shoes!!!! Who seriously wants to go outside and step in junk? NOT ME. I have decided to start a petition to stop this insanity! Please support my cause!

I feel like every single blog I post is either about Lance or my nieces and nephew. However, I can't stop ;) So here is yet ANOTHER post bragging on my favorite boy! First I'll start by saying he planned the perfect birthday date! We went to my favorite place to eat ... mongo, then to Kart to Kart which was my first time going (sooooooo FUN), then off to Romeo (yes, Romeo) to their high school to see High School Musical ;), we ended the night w/ a movie. He knows me so well! The next day was mother's day so we had a bbq over Chris and Lori's house. Lance watched the kids so that all the moms could eat first. WOW I HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN TO THE PART WHERE I BRAG ON HIM. ... here it is. I wasn't feeling good yesterday and called Lance to complain about it. When I got off work he was at our friends house about to start a bible study, so I headed home. I walked in my apt. to find that he had cleaned the entire place (he came straight to my place after work to surprise me) ... which included dishes, taking out the trash, straightening the place, he made a pot of coffee for me & left on my table a bouquet of flowers (Iris ... my fav. ... and daises because the Irises would not bloom for a couple days) w/ a note that made me melt ;) I am so lucky! Sorry I talk about Lance so much on my blog ... but I have waited a long time for him :)

It's been a pretty long running joke in our family that I NEVER wrap my gifts to people. Whether it's birthdays, Christmas, or special days, I just never get around to actually wrapping the gift. Usually they will get the gift in the bag I bought it in or if they are super lucky ... a gift bag. One time Lance said it was kinda cool that I had my own thing, but then took it back and said lazy cannot be my thing LOL. Now, I know that I am not making myself look amazing right now and that this is not a good trait for me to be posting on my blog ... but I have to give a little background before I can brag on Lance. He bought me 2 cards for my birthday and just LOOK at that wrapping job!!!!!!!

I had so much going on last weekend I barely had any time to think ... let alone blog. So here it is in a nutshell. Friday night Sarah, Lance and I went to the Piston's game. My cuz got some sweet suite tickets from her work. It was amazing! Sat morning I had the Spring Tea at my church w/ the ladies. Then the rest of Sat I took Lance out for his birthday. I took him to the largest used bookstore in MI (he loved it). Then to Royal Oak for the Inn Season Cafe and of course coffee and walking around after. Sunday (lance's actual birthday) we went out to eat after church then right to Nikki and Steves. About a year ago Lance and Steve made a pack to play chess at 2pm on Lance's birthday at the bog ... and they kept that promise (even if it did mean playing in mud (literally). Lastly Lance and I ended the weekend w/ a movie. So there it is .... and here are some pictures ....

Last night Lance and I went to Caribou Coffee. We sat outside w/ our coffee (Coffee Cooler for Lance and a Northern Lite Turtle Latte for me ;) and notepad and pen. We both wrote down all our goals for this month .... his list had 12 things on it ... mine had 9. Both of us are pretty big procrastinators .... so we thought this would be a good chance for us to get on each others "case" and actually get things done. #8 on my list is 'memorize Lance's phone number' LOL He does not like the fact that I don't remember ANYTHING. At the beginning of this year I set some goals for myself. I wanted to be more focused on the right things that God has put in my heart. I guess you could call it a New Year's resolution .... but I just call it "life." Well, today I realized that I am actually making these things happen. The reason this is such a big deal for me .... I'm a huge procrastinator!!! Well, praise the Lord for his mercy and strength!! This morning I was praying and noticed this tree outside my window. Instantly I thought of new beginnings and how I am like this tree .... growing!!!! I know I have a long way to go (similar to the tree) ... but thanks to Jesus I have started down a path that God has designed for me.

Lance and I have been dating for almost 4 months & have been friends for about 6 months. I have soooo much fun w/ him. I am incredibly lucky to have a boyfriend who truly loves the Lord w/ all his heart and challenges me everyday! He always thinks of really good ideas. A while ago he decided that we should buy a piggy bank and put ALL of our spare change in it and on our 1 year anniversary we will spend everything that we have saved up. Well, here is our lovely vase ;) We both use a debit card .... so it has been hard to save up change .... but as you can see .... we are off to a pretty good start.

After church today Lance and I went to the gym and got our butts kicked by our trainer. We heard the phrase "do it to FAIL" maybe 100 times. Then we met Keri and Alina at Partridge Creek for some coffee and shopping. Afterwards, we took Alina for a lil bit while Keri got some grocery shopping done! We were able to look up some scripture verses before the day ended. All in all ... a pretty good day ;)

Last night Lance and I went out to eat w/ DV and Matt at Mongo (my fav place to eat) and then back to my place. Danielle and I caught up on our lives while the boys played their video games. Then we all headed to blockbuster for a movie. We had a hard time deciding what to rent .... so Lance ended up picking 4 movies out and we voted on one .... Blood Diamond. It is a very good movie ... but very sad. I DO love spending time w/ my friends ;) I'm trying to start to take pictures again ... I have been slacking lately!!!

1. I am scared of birds, fish & clowns.

2. I love to sing ... even tho I sound terrible doing it.

3. I broke both bones in my left arm (falling off a bike that was way too big for me to ride) & my collar bone (wrestling w/ my cousin Joel).

4. I flew in a 4 passenger plane the day the pilot got his license to fly .... and almost threw up afterwards because of all the flips and stuff he was doing.

5. I lived in Tulsa for one year and Los Angeles for 6 months.

6. I love Thai food.

7. I swam with dolphins with my family in Florida.

8. I have been to Venezuela, Haiti and Mexico on a missions trip.

9. I was 3rd team All State in high school for Volleyball. I actually almost quit after my freshman year because I was so bad, but my coach saw my potential.

10. I got saved on my mom's birthday while she was out of the country on a missions trip. Before I even went to the alter, God told my mom that she would receive the best birthday gift that day.

11. I absolutely love snowboarding but have not been able to go this winter because of my cash flow.

12. While living in Cali I met and took a picture with Marcel. It was awesome. (for those of you who don't know ... Marcel is the monkey on FRIENDS)

13. I went Parasailing in Florida with Deena and she passed out at the end of the ride .... it freaked me out.

14. All my christmas decorations are still up in my apt. and I have no intention of taking them down anytime soon.

15. I love starting books but have a hard time finishing them.

16. For some reason if I have someone over to my place I have to have at least one candle lit and a pot of coffee going.

17. I can't whistle.

18. My mom made me do a typing program every time I was grounded ... and I am now so incredibly thankful to her.

19. When I was younger my sister told me I was adopted and really had an older brother and a dog and that when I was 16 he was going to meet me on the roof of my "parents" house. Almost every night she would tell me more about my brother and dog.

20. My 3rd day of living in Los Angeles I went for a run with one of my friends and we got lost. We ended up finding our way back home with the help of a few homeless men.

21. It's near impossible for me to go shopping without getting a coffee to walk around with while I'm at the mall.

22. I missed my senior year prom because I was grounded ... and spent the entire day with my sister instead (it was the best prom/homecoming ever).

23. I don't let anyone touch my feet (not even my family or boyfriend).... I don't think any of them mind that much LOL

24. On the ride home from church one wed night my sisters got in a huge fight. When we got home, my parents spanked all 3 of us even tho I had NOTHING to do with it and was innocent.

25. I love Jesus with all my heart and am truly blessed for the life He has given me.

HERE IT IS ;) My lovely apartment!!!!! I have decided to dedicate my next few posts to updating on everything that has been missed for the last few months. Todays post .... my living room! My favorite thing is my red wall that Lance and I just painted a week ago!!!! I also was able to decorate for christmas .... loving the tree topper? ;) It's so amazing to have my own place! I am able to host the thursday night bible study (which we are going thru the series Living for Eternity by John Bevere .... I highly recommend it). Last night Mikes, Remy and Lance came over and we played cards and did our love language test HAHA .... Mikes idea (surprise surprise). OK ... I'm not going to list ALL the reasons I love having my own place .... so I'll just say ..... praise the Lord for being Jehovah Jireh (my provider).

Even tho it may not seem like it ... I PROMISE .... I love to Blog .... ugh, I have missed it so much!!!!! I should be getting the internet soon in my apt. I can't believe my last post was in October & was about FALL!!!!!!! I missed a whole month (November) & now we are into winter ;) Sooooooo much is happening in my life ..... there is NO way I can play catch up w/ one post .... so I'll just say ....

GOD IS GOOD!!!!!!! I'm in my new apt. & loving it!!!! I just painted my main wall dark red .... just in time for christmas ;) God has brought AMAZING ppl ;) into my life! & I am learning & growing in Him everyday!!! I guess I could name a few things I have been up to every week. I have 2 bible studies a week, The Truth Project (love it), amazing worship every friday night (you should come out), Lance and I coach a basketball team for the Boys & Girls club every sat afternoon, ...... oh and so much more ..... even as I'm typing a few of these things out, I am thinking of more things I have going on .... praise the Lord for a busy schedule ;)

I LOVE Fall

So I'm a little late on my posting .... BUT I wanted to post a blog on friday!!! I LOVED FRIDAY! It started off w/ a call from Keri telling me that we were going shopping ;) Whenever it's a sister day ..... I'm IN!! So Keri, Alina, Lori, Isaac, Zoey & me all went to Lakeside! It was interesting! We each a stroller (Keri has a picture on her blog). Then Nikki came over after work to chill .... and anytime you are with Nikki .... it's an adventure LOL. To end the night, a group of us went out to 26 mile for a bonfire & corn maze ;) So much fun! We started off with worship around a fire ..... then off to the longest crazy fun corn maze ever!!!!! Let me break it down for you! Last night I went to my tuesday night bible study at Nikki and Steve's place. I always expect to stay super late. We debate scripture for a couple hours .... and then of course have a ton of fun ;) ..... you know games & a BONFIRE!!!!! Well, last night was even more late than usual! I didn't have to work today sooooooooooo I was pretty much there into the next morning .... I know right. Anyways I get home and as I am walking to the door I realize I do not have the apartment key to get in! Oh no .... classic next step .... CALL DAD! He of course comes to my rescue even tho he had been sleeping for hours. This whole 'call dad' thing ..... it's a very common thing in my life. Run out of gas (yes this has happened surprisingly a lot .... or not surprisingly) - call dad, drive car into ditch - call dad, get lost driving in chicago - call dad, lock my keys in my car - call dad .... wow this is starting to get embarrassing. OK sooooo my point LOL .... I am moving out on my own October 8th! I finally found my apartment and will be officially on my own for the very first time in my life! I think everyone should start praying for my keys, my driving, my directions .... and my dad's sanity!!!!

side note: I love you, dad! I am so lucky to have you in my life .... and for more reasons than just you coming to my rescue! You are the perfect role model. You have SHOWN me what a true man of faith is suppose to look like. God has blessed me so much to have my spiritual father be my very own dad! You are the best!

and of course mom (since I am having a sentimental moment here) .... I am going to miss our morning coffee talks and our afternoon rollerblades! If I can grown up to be half the woman you are, I will be incredibly lucky! You are an amazing mother! You are such a strong person .... thank you for always leading me towards Jesus. I love you!

A couple nights ago I was at Starbucks w/ a bunch of friends. We were having fun just talking and hanging out .... when we started to do riddles. It was mostly those crazy ones where you can ask yes or no questions, until Aaron pulled out a math one. It really bugged me ..... I had to solve it ... which I of course finally did (or I would not be doing this post lol). Anyways ... I couldn't find it on the internet ... but this one is VERY similar. You solve it the exact same way. ENJOY ;)

Three friends check into a motel for the night and the clerk tells them the bill is $30, payable in advance. So, they each pay the clerk $10 and go to their room. A few minutes later, the clerk realizes he has made an error and overcharged the trio by $5. He asks the bellhop to return $5 to the 3 friends who had just checked in. The bellhop sees this as an opportunity to make $2 as he reasons that the three friends would have a tough time dividing $5 evenly among them; so he decides to tell them that the clerk made a mistake of only $3, giving a dollar back to each of the friends. He pockets the leftover $2 and goes home for the day! Now, each of the three friends gets a dollar back, thus they each paid $9 for the room which is a total of $27 for the night. We know the bellhop pocketed $2 and adding that to the $27, you get $29, not $30 which was originally spent. Where did the other dollar go????

2 and 1/2 years ago I surrendered my entire life over to Jesus. Yes, I grew up in an amazingly christian home and served God most of my life BUT there was a time where I did turn my back for a little bit. However, like the prodigal son I fell flat on my face and with the help of the prayers of my family .... I came back Home. Since that time I have been asking God for some strong christian friends that I can hang out w/ and learn from. Well Last night after a bible study that I go to, we made a fire and talked about about Jesus for hours. As I was sitting there I realized that God had answered my prayer and I couldn't stop thanking Him for what He has given me. I mean ... I have a bible study with amazing friends where we dig into the Word and just talk about scriptures and the meanings. Could you ask for a better way to spend your night? God has provided more than just tuesday night .... I am lucky enough to have more nights that are similar. PRAISE JESUS! “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” (Matthew 21:22)

Last night I went to my co-workers daughter's wedding. It was so fun to just hang out w/ all the girls from the office. I'll tell one story! If you know me .... you know that I hate being warm. So as the room was starting to get really hot, I had to go get some ice cold water! I'm not joking when I say that it was like a sauna in this reception hall. On my way back from getting my water as an attempt to cool down something caught my eye! The thermostat!!!!! Now keep in mind I don't even know the bride and groom ..... I work with the bride's mother. I went over to the thermostat and turned the air down .... way down LOL. It made for a nice night ... and someone had to do it! FALL!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh, I love fall!!!! It's so close now! & you want to know why I am already ready?!?! PUNKIN SPICE LATTES!!!!! Seasons come & go .... and you can always count on Starbucks' seasonal flavors to let you know what's next!!! I have to say that my favorite season is probably winter .... mostly because snowboarding is my absolute fav thing to do in the world! And don't forget Peppermint White Mochas. BUT a super close second is FALL ... especially in Michigan!!! Oh my goodness .... the leaves changing, cider mills, pumpkins, football, sweatshirts, fun jackets, pretty walks, haunted houses, apple picking, apple cider, lil kids in fun costumes and of course Pumpkin Spice Lattes! I LOVE IT! Since I have taken this time to talk about 2 of the 4 seasons ..... let me just say that there is nothing good about summer and spring .... they give us allergies and hot sweaty weather!!!! YUCK! Bring on the cool weather ;) I CAN'T WAIT!

Oh my goodness!!!!! The last few months have been consumed with me looking for an apartment. This takes a lot more work than I thought it would. First let me say that the internet is a beautiful thing. I mean I have always appreciated the internet .... but I never knew how much until I needed to shop for apartments. It helps so much w/ narrowing down. My first requirement for my new place of living - a washer and dryer in the unit! Anyone who has lived in an apartment and has had to walk down the hall to do their laundry understands why this is so important! That limits my search down like 80%. After that I am pretty flexible. I mean I want central air, a dishwasher, and an oven just like everyone else .... but most places have stuff like that. I have gone into so many different kinds of places .... small, big, cheap, expensive ... etc. With all my searching I have come up with a pretty good place. AND THE WINNER IS ... (sorry ... I had the apartments that I was moving into here .... but my aunt Linda loves me very much and does not want the whole world knowing where I live!). It's not official, but its definitely in the lead. Unless I find a place thats just as nice for as cheap of a price, I will be applying to live there in the next week.

A lil while ago my bestfriend got married and moved to Florida! Altho I hate that she has left me, she is super happy ... So that makes me happy! If anyone knows Michaelin ... you know she makes things happen!!!! She has arranged w/ her job here in Michigan to come home every 4-6 weeks and work a crazy weekend w/ 12 hour days!!! The best thing about it .... I get to see my Mikes basically once a month!! She leaves tomorrow :( but today was my day :) We went to church, then to the Tigers game w/ Keri, shopping of course, pinochle w/ her parents, PF Changs for dinner (no shock there), and then a movie w/ her cousins! What more could you ask for in a day ;) Here are some pics at the game!
