Daniel prayed: "Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king."
Daniel 2:20-23

So I went and read that ehow article about "How to Keep Christ to Yourself". Did you read it? I actually thought it was cool. The author was using the word "keep" and its' synonyms like consecrate, fulfill, regard, observe, notice, celebrate, and hold, as directions for how we are supposed to "keep" Christ in our daily life. I don't think she meant it to be offensive. I was thinking of it like how we "keep" Christmas and observe it as a holiday and how it holds a special place in our hearts. We should "keep" Christ and celebrate HIM in our hearts, as well as share HIM with others. I do see how she may have been misunderstood though. Maybe a tacky title :) I think even the scripture she used was good (Psalm 119) verse 2 is good stuff: Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.
